Monday, April 5

8:00 am – 8:00 pm

Set-up: Exhibitors will comple check-in and set-up of their projects in the Bldg. 14 Exhibit Hall, Orange County Fairgrounds. (see OCSEF Location/Directions).

Judging Times:

During set-up, exhibitors will select a 1 hour judging period during which they will be interviewed by the science fair judges on Wednesday.

Wednesday, April 7

9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Judging Interviews: During their scheduled judging period, students will stand by their exhibits and discuss their project with category judges. They may also be interviewed by special awards judges in their areas of interest. Students must be present during their judging times to qualify for board awards.

Friday, April 9

Open House: 9:00 am - 3 pm

Held in conjunction with Youth Expo, Exhibitors, families, friends, classmates, and teachers are all welcome to view the exhibits.

Saturday, April 10

Open House: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

Sunday, April 11

OCSEF Open House: 12:00 – 2:00 pm

Reception: 1:00 – 2:00 pm

Everyone is welcome in the Exhibit Hall for a reception to honor the exhibitors.

Awards Ceremony: 2:00 – 3:30 pm Grandstand Arena (see OCSEF Location/Directions).

During the ceremony, all OCSEF Board awards and special awards will be announced and presented. Those selected to enter the California State Science Fair will also be announced. A complete list of winning exhibits will be available after the ceremony.

Fair closing/Removal of Exhibits: 3:30 – 5:00pm

All exhibits must be removed from the Exhibit Hall during this time. Students may designate someone else to pick up their exhibit if they are unable to do so.

** We suggest you park in parking lot #4 off Arlington and Fairview during the science fair; other lots may be full or closed.
